You can search online termbases using different search methods. For more information about search methods in MultiTerm Online, see Search Methods.
Use the search tools that feature on the MultiTerm Online toolbar in the Terms view to initiate your termbase search. The termbases you selected after logging in to MultiTerm Online will be used in the search.
To search the termbase:
Go to the Terms view.
Select a source language from the drop-down list on the lower MultiTerm Online toolbar. MultiTerm uses the current source language terms as a search language.
Select a target language from the drop-down list on the lower MultiTerm Online toolbar.
Click the Click to activate filter: <filter name> icon on the Search and Display toolbar if you want to apply the current default filter to your search.
Click the Click to activate duplicate/inconsistency filter: <filter name> icon on the Search and Display toolbar, if you want to apply a duplicate or inconsistency filter to your search.
Specify the type of search by selecting the Normal, Fuzzy or Full Text check box on the Search and Display toolbar.
Enter your search text in the Search box and click the Run the search now icon on the Search and Display toolbar. Matching terms are displayed in alphabetical order in the hit list on the left-hand side pane.
Click on a term in the hit list to display the corresponding entry in the entry pane.

Check filters and layouts before you begin searching. If you apply a filter, this will affect your search results. The active layout affects the display of fields in the entry pane. |
