If you need to remove an entry from the termbase, you can delete it provided that you have the appropriate termbase access rights. Access rights are defined by your MultiTerm administrator and they may vary from one termbase to the next.
To delete an entry:
Check that you have sufficient access rights to carry out the required editing tasks. In addition, note the following:
If another user is editing the entry you want to edit, you will not be able to open the entry in edit mode.
If the maximum number of concurrent editors on the network has already been reached, you may be temporarily prevented from carrying out any editing tasks. If necessary, contact your MultiTerm administrator to inform him of your requirements.
You cannot modify fields to which you have read-only access.
Go to the Terms view. Perform a search to find the entry you want to delete. Select the relevant term in the hit list on the left-hand side to open the corresponding entry in the entry pane.
Click Delete entry on the lower MultiTerm Online toolbar. The entry is removed from the termbase.
