MultiTerm Online buttons provide you with information and assist you in performing tasks such as searching and editing your termbase. The buttons below are displayed on the following MultiTerm Online toolbars:
Upper MultiTerm Online toolbar - This toolbar is displayed on every page in MultiTerm Online.
Lower MultiTerm Online toolbar - Only the options displayed on this toolbar when it is in the Terms view are described below. NOTE: For more information about the different options displayed on this toolbar when in other views (Home, Termbase Management and Administration), see Navigating in MultiTerm Online.
Search and Display toolbar - This toolbar is only displayed on the Terms view.
These buttons are located on all of the pages in MultiTerm Online.

Click to access the online Help. The button for accessing the documentation for SDL MultiTerm Online is displayed as a question mark icon and is located on the right-hand side of the upper MultiTerm Online toolbar.

Go to Support
|
|
Click to access http://support.sdl.com. This button is displayed as an envelope and is located on the right-hand side of the upper MultiTerm Online toolbar. |
Log Out |
|
Click to log out of MultiTerm Online. The Log Out button is located on the right-hand side of the upper MultiTerm Online toolbar.
|
In the Terms view, the lower MultiTerm Online toolbar contains language and layout lists and editing tools that you can use to carry out standard editing procedures in MultiTerm Online.

Create a new entry

Click to add a new entry to the selected termbase. |
Edit entry |

Click to edit an existing entry in the selected termbase.

Save entry |
|
Click to save the changes you have made to a new or existing entry.

Cancel entry editing
|

Click to cancel editing or creating an entry while in edit mode. |
Delete entry |
|
Click to delete an entry from the termbase.
|
Language Lists
|
Define the source and target languages for the termbase whose content is currently displayed in the main area.

Layout List
|
Use to apply a different layout to the termbase whose content is currently displayed in the main page area.

Switch source and target languages
|
|
Click to switch the current source and target languages for the termbase whose content is currently displayed in the main area. |
Current input model <input model name> |
|
Click to go to the Input Models page where you can select a default input model for the termbase whose content is currently displayed in the main area.

This toolbar is located above the browse and hit list pane in the Terms view. Use the available options to view entries while browsing or searching your termbase(s), to activate filters and duplicate filters for your searches and to access the Settings page.

Browse to the previous set of entries

Click to display the previous page of termbase entries. The first term in the set is defined as the current term and the corresponding entry is displayed in the entry pane.

Display Previous set of entries

Click to display the previous page of search results in the hit list. The first term in the set is defined as the current term and the corresponding entry is displayed in the entry pane.

Display previous entry
|
|
Click to display the previous alphabetical entry in the entry pane. The current source language determines the alphabetical sort order.

Display next entry
|
|
Click to display the next alphabetical entry in the entry pane.
|
Browse to next set of entries
|
|
Click to view the next page of entries. The first term in the new set is defined as the current term and the corresponding entry is displayed in the entry pane.

Continue search for next set of entries
|
|
Click to view the next page of search results in the hit list. The first term in the new set is defined as the current term and the corresponding entry is displayed in the entry pane. |
Click to activate filter: <filter name>
|
|
Click to apply the default filter to the currently selected termbase. When the filter is active, the icon represents a button that has been pressed in. Click the Click to deactivate filter: <filter name> icon to deactivate the filter. |
Click to activate duplicate/ inconsistency filter: <filter name> |
|
Click to activate a duplicate or inconsistency filter for the termbase currently set as the default termbase. Depending on the duplicate filter that you have activated, SDL MultiTerm Online searches for duplicate or inconsistent entries. This button is only displayed if you have set up a duplicate or inconsistency filter for your default termbase. |
