Setting the Default Layout

You can define a default layout for a specific termbase so it is automatically displayed in the selected format. You can do this from the Layouts page in the Catalogue view.

 

To define a default layout:

  1. Go to the Layouts page in the Termbase Management view.

  2. Choose a termbase from the Select Termbase drop-down list.

  3. Select the layout you want to use in the Current column.

  4. Click OK to set the default layout for the termbase. When you open a termbase, its terms will now be displayed in the entry pane using the layout you selected as default.

NOTE

The layouts listed on the Layouts page are first sorted alphabetically by name and then by owner (user-owned, user role-owned or system-owned).
